Obituary of NETTIE PERZAN
NETTIE PERZAN
Nettie Perzan of Winnipeg Manitoba. Passed away suddenly at the Concordia Hospital on February 23rd, 2018. She was in the presence of family who loves her deeply. Nettie started her journey on June 12th 1939 in Caliento Manitoba. It is there that she learned a love of gardening and a love of animals which she was deeply ingrained in her until the time of her passing. She also loved people and her pets. Nettie also grew up with a sharp tongue and a very strong will. She was passionate in all ways and on both end of the spectrum. All her life she made sure everyone was always fed and happy but had no qualms about voicing her opinions. It is this aspect of her that lead her to the greatest love of her life and that’s her husband Alex. A person she knew she loved the first time she seen him and in an older time when things weren’t done that way but to Nettie she was doing it her way and getting what she wanted she pursued Alex including a "wrong number “call to get to meet him. Together their life spanned an amazing 58 years and together the developed a love of traveling seeing the world. Over the years they have seen lots of different countries and met thousands or people and touched them with their kindness and caring. Even with all the traveling and both working full time they found and made the time to express their love and have a family. Together they bought a cabin as a place to enjoy family and friends and a place to relax and allow Nettie to grow her garden. She was always willing to share, including her love of flowers which she would cut after growing for a gift for her granddaughter.
Nettie was preceded in passing by her parents Mary and Bill, and her sister Sophie and Brother Eugene.
She is also survived by her Husband Alex and her oldest daughter Shannon (Chris), mid daughter Tammy and youngest Candace (Don). Her loving and cherished grandchildren Tyler, Michelle and Erin. She left us too early in life and will be missed and cherished by all who know and love her.
There will be no service or funeral and the family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
