Can someone from the family advise his fellow classmates through me as to Nelson's choice of work during his career. Many of his classmates from 1967 have asked.

I am so sorry to hear about Nelson. I was so glad that he came to our 50th year high school reunion this past summer. Everyone had such a nice visit with him and I know that he enjoyed seeing so many old friends.

Diane, Dennis and family, please accept our sincere condolences. This is a very difficult time for your family. We got to know Nelson quite well over the years as he was usually around for your family gatherings and did so many things for your family over the years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Nelson was one of my closest friends in high school.
A cool memory to share ... he came up for a week-long visit to my family's modest little cabin at Sandy Lake. It was still a very quiet little agricultural town ... nothing much happening.
One run-down old Chinese cafe ... Gerald's Café ... usually empty. I remember whiling-away at least a couple of afternoons sitting in a booth there with Nelly ... plugging coins into the jukebox, playing (and re-playing) one song.
Not too hard to guess ... "California Girls" ... :)
I am sorry for your loss.

We were all so happy that Nelson joined us this summer for our 50th anniversary of Brandon Collegiate. He always brought joy to our gatherings.
