Obituary of ADELIA SOUSA CABRAL
ADELIA SOUSA CABRAL
We were blessed to enjoy and love Adelia during her 79 years with us. Adelia went to be with our Lord Friday, January 12th at 9:55pm.
She was born in Acores, Portugal to Emidio and Maria da Gloria Carreiro. In 1964 she married the love of her life Antonio Cabral had one daughter, Susana Scott and immigrated to Canada in 1967. Adelia enjoyed going to the lake with her family and friends singing and laughing. She loved nature and flowers. Adelia was blessed with a very large family including her brother in law John (Aldora) and sister in law Gloria with many nieces and nephews who she loved very much.
Adelia is survived by her husband Antonio Cabral; her daughter Susana Scott; her five grandchildren, Victoria, Brendan, Mathew (Hanna), Kelsie (Steven), and Christopher (Ana); her 2 sisters Judite and Irene.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Jim Scott; three brothers, Emidio, Artur, and Luis; and her two sisters, Maria da Lus and Esmeria; brother-in-law (Samuel).
Prayers will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4588 Roblin Blvd. on Thursday, January 18th at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 19th at 11am also at the church with reception followed by interment at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery.
