RYSZARD ZINOWKO

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful, loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. Ryszard Zinowko passed away suddenly on November 9, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 73.

Ryszard is survived by his wife, Jadwiga; his daughter Yvonne (Bradley); his sons Ignacy (Basia) and Irek (Gosia) and his grandchildren Cassandra, Veronica, Gabriel, Jessica and Michael. Ryszard also leaves to mourn his brother Jozef and many relatives and friends.

Tatus (dad) and his family immigrated to Canada in 1983 from Poland. His greatest love was his wife, Jadwiga, to whom he was married for 51 wonderful years.

Tatus (dad) enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with his grandkids. He will be remembered as a kind and giving person who was always ready to help his family and friends.

Prayers will be said on Monday, November 14 at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ryszard’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
