Mom was born and raised in Angusville, Manitoba and lived there until she moved to Newdale with her husband and children in 1959. After the death of her husband, Mom moved to Winnipeg in 1974.

Mom had a few careers – teacher, hotel owner and Unit Clerk at St. Boniface Hospital. She retired in 1989 when she spent several years traveling to different parts of the world. In later life, she enjoyed spending time with her family and experienced great joy in watching her grandchildren become successful adults and marveling at her great grandchildren.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the nursing staff and doctors at Concordia Hospital especially those on Unit 1 North.  Their care and compassion helped our family through a difficult time.
