Dear Father Desjardins,
I just found out today that you had passed away, Father. Whatever circumstances were added to your already heavy cross, God surely knows, as do many, many people, of all the goodness you gave to serve Him as best you could for a long lifetime as a HOLY PRIEST. You were a man. You were a Priest. You were a teacher and a mentor at College Mathieu and you dedicated your whole life doing the work of a Good Priest. Surely, nobody but a priest knows how hard this work is.
Thank you, Pere Desjardins, for all those Good things those who did not know you might discount, and have judged you during the last years of the Cross you carried for a lifetime- the Cross all priests carry, and they carry it with the Grace of God alone in most cases. Que notre Seigneur vous benisse, Pere Desjardins.
