Peacefully on October 4, 2017, Francis Kruk passed away at home with her daughter Carol by her side, at the age of 92 years.

Francis is survived by her children Wayne (Diane), Dale (Cindy) and Carol (Kevin); daughter-in-law Elizabeth; 5 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; also special extended family Pat (Ken) and Bruce (Margot) and many other relatives.

She was predeceased by her first husband William Currie Cassells; second husband Michael Kruk; son William James Cassells and 8 siblings.

Francis is the last branch to be filled in on her family tree.

Francis loved everybody and everybody loved her. She was always there to lend an ear or a helping hand in any way. The joys of her life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff at Access River East and special thanks to her homecare workers for their care and compassion.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will take place on Saturday, October 21 at noon at Shoal Lake Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
