GARRY IVAN

August 31, 1965 – September 30, 2017

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son and brother Garry (GI) on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

He will be remembered and missed by his mother Phyllis; sister Dawn and brother-in-law Mike; brother Steven and sister-in-law Darlene; and niece Heather; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.  Garry was predeceased by his father Jozsef  Ivan March 21, 1977.

Garry was born in England and raised in Winnipeg.  He enjoyed fishing and beating his brother at golf every chance he had.  He loved all kinds of animals especially his cats.  He enjoyed BBQ’s and Sunday morning crosswords.  Garry started his career at CP Rail then graduated from the Technical Drafting course at Red River Community College and later pursued Electrical Drafting.  He ended with a career in commercial and domestic painting.  Garry was always willing to help other people.

A celebration of life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Friday, October 6, 2017 at 1:30 p.m.
