Obituary of HELEN POSYNIAK

HELEN POSYNIAK With great sorrow we announce the death of our beloved Mother on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at the Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 99 years. Helen was born in Poland on May 16, 1913. She came to Canada in August 9, 1949. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Josie (Joe) Kachur and Chris Kornaga and friend Mario, loving grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mom was predeceased by her son Edward (1942), her parents and husband Frank in 1995. The family would like to thank the Maples Personal Care Staff for their excellent and compassionate care of our MOM. Also a big thank you to Dr. T. Babick for all the years he took care of MOM. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be said at St. John Cantius Church, 846 Burrows Ave. on Friday August 24, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Flowers graciously declined. If anyone wishes to make a donation to her memory, please do so to St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church.
