I was shocked to hear about Renee's passing. We worked together at VGH for many years and shared a lot of laughs and personal stories. My deepest condolences to her daughter Ashley and family whom she spoke so highly about. Lots of good memories, rest in peace Renee.

I was very shocked and upset to hear of Renee's passing. Renee and I have worked together since she was 19 years old. I first met Renee at the St. Adolphe Nursing Home. We worked together for a few years and then Renee moved to the city and got a job at the Victoria Hospital. In 2000 I got a job at Victoria Hospital and have worked with Renee since then. Renee and I had a long history and we reminisced often about those days at work. Renee was not just a co-worker but a friend. I know many of Renee's family and my heart goes out to you all. Please accept my condolences. I will miss you and your infectious laugh. Rest in peace my dear friend.

How does one express profound condolences to a beautiful niece he hardly knew.
It was with extreme sadness when Amber contacted Lynda and Lynda contacted me with the news of Renee's passing.
Although we hardly knew one another, the loss of another member of our family is heartbreaking beyond words and our thoughts and prayers go out to Roland, Lois and Ashley as you grieve the loss of someone so very special in your hearts.
We do not know all the details of Renee's passing but know that she is in a far more peaceful place and time right now and hopefully looking down upon all of us, especially Ashley.
We have looked upon her picture that was sent and can see the beauty in her face, smile and loving eyes as were Trina's and are Ambers. We will be at our local church Sunday morning and will have prayers and candles lit for the entire family.
When a loved one passes memories come flowing back of all the good times and they shared and hopefully you will all relive those memories you shared with Renee.

Ashley, Uncle Rolly, Aunty Lois, Amber, and family...
Words cannot describe the pain, the shock, and the sadness I'm feeling. I always looked up to Renée. She was kind, funny, silly, and caring just like her Dad. Growing up, everyone would go to memère's every Sunday to talk and laugh. That is when I learned the importance and strong bond of family and cousins. Even 30+ years later, I feel that strong connection and realizing that even though we don't see each other or talk to each other every day or every week, this connection is deeper. Mike's fundraiser in October brought everyone together. I teased her, man did I tease her! Just to hear that laugh. You are all in my thoughts and I'm sending BIG HUGS and tons of love to all of you.
