Obituary of RONALD PETER ZAGRODNIK
RONALD PETER ZAGRODNIK
Suddenly, on Sunday, May 14, 2017, our beloved brother and uncle died at the age of 74.
He is survived by two loving sister, Larcine and Diane; nephew Darryl (Michelle); and niece Charlotte (Grant). He also left behind other relatives and many dear friends. Ronald was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Jean; and a brother Dennis.
Ronald was raised farming in Fisher Branch until he went on to Teachers College to become a teacher. He was forced to retire at age 50 because of his health. This limited his ability to do many things he would have liked to do. In spite of these challenges, he was a caregiver to his mother and brother for many years.
Ronald was fortunate to take several trips abroad before his retirement and a trip to Ukraine, most recently. He loved karaoke on weekends with his circle of friends. Ron will be sadly missed by us all.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral service as per Ron’s wishes. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
