JOHN ROBERT STARKELL

On May 4, 2017 at Riverview Health Centre, John passed away at the age of 77 years.

John will be remembered by his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia and many friends and neighbours. A special thank-you to our neighbour Millie Kennedy for her help and support.

He was predeceased by his parents William and Helen (Dracha).

John was employed for 25 years at Eaton’s (Polo Park) as a manager in the sporting goods department.

John played his amateur football with St. James Rods and St. James Rams. John was inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame twice, first in 2009 (Team Category Rods) and then in 2011 (Team Category Rams).

At John’s request a private family service has been held.
