Obituary of GREGORY GEORGE HODGES
GREGORY GEORGE HODGES
After a brief battle with cancer, Greg Hodges passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 4, 2017.
Greg had a huge heart for family and friends. He worked hard and played hard as a station attendant at Air Canada, helping friends, family and neighbours with handy work, and then hitting the beach, bonfire or fishing hole with a favourite beverage in hand.
He passed a love of nature and deep family roots onto his daughters, Sarah and Jacqueline; grandchildren, Roger, Quinn and Arianna; and nephews, Matt, Mike and Adam. He will be missed by his wife, Marianne; brother Doug and family; Sarah and Nick and family; Jackie and Jesse; many fur babies; and the many other lives that he graced with his energy.
Please join us for a Celebration of his Life on Friday, May 12th from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Philippino Cultural Centre located at 737 Keewatin Street. As it is an informal celebration, the family asks that you dress accordingly, casual wear is preferred.
In lieu of flowers a donation to CancerCare Manitoba, wildernesscommittee.org, or a charity of your choosing would be appreciated.
