Obituary of PAULINE MUZIK
PAULINE MUZIK
On Thursday, April 5, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer Pauline Muzik (Hankewich) passed away peacefully at 8:45 am.
Paulie was born on December 14, 1933 as an only child. She married her husband William (Bill) on September 20, 1952 and together they devoted their lives to their twin boys Gregory (Cora) and David (Susan).
Paulie loved sports, including football, hockey and especially curling. She was a very talented crafter, cook and an avid reader. She enjoyed travel but there was nothing she liked better than all the times spent at their cottage at Twin Lakes Beach. She will be sadly missed by all of those who know and love her, including many friends, nephews, their families and second daughter Janie.
Many thanks to the staff on the 4th floor Grace Hospital and to Dr’s Daenic and Haligowski for their caring treatment of Paulie throughout her battle. Special thanks to her friends at the West Kildonan Library.
According to Pauline’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
A Memorial Tree was planted for PAULINE
