It is with sad heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother on March 25, 2017 at Riverview Health Centre
Left to mourn are her daughters Rhonda (Tony) of Dryden, ON, Laura (Brian) of Warroad, MN, and Mona (Rob) of Winnipeg; son Eugene (Jackie) of Gillette, WY; 6 grandchildren Shannon, Kyle, Larisa, Kristin, Kiana and Kyla; 3 great-grandchildren Kaden, Karsten and Kody. She also leaves a large extended family. She was predeceased by her brother Raymond Overton and sister Kathleen Werestiuk.
Mom was born on September 12, 1940 in Normétal, QC. The family all have the fondest memories of our mother and grandmother working long days, cooking, baking and farming. She will be greatly missed. Sadly in her later years Ettie was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Dementia and battled this life altering disease until her passing.
Our whole family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the facility and staff at the Riverview Health Centre for their efforts in making our mothers last years of her battle the most comfortable it could be.
In accordance with Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba www.alzheimer.mb.ca
