KATHLEEN MAE DERKSEN
It is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen Mae Derksen announce her passing on Monday, March 13, 2017.
Kathleen was born November 15, 1955 in Winkler, Manitoba. She was a much loved mother, sister, and aunt who was predeceased by her parents George and Helen Derksen; brothers Georgie, Henry, George and Frank Derksen.
Kathy is survived by her daughter Shannon Derksen; siblings Abe Derksen (Martha), Deb Baleja (Dave), Helen Penner (George); sister-in-law Ann Derksen; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital who compassionately cared for Kathleen for many years.
A Celebration of Kathleen’s Life will be on Wednesday, March 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave Street.
Memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation in honour of Kathleen Derksen.
