MICHAEL PROVENSKI
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden death of Michael Provenski on Thursday, February 23, 2017. He was predeceased by his wife Anne (Pehora) in 2011 as well as his brothers Fred and Kasper and sisters Anne Shakura, Nellie Filuk and Victoria Gazankas. He is survived by his sister Stella Witiuk, his children Patricia (Richard) and Dennis (Sylvia); grandchildren Kathleen (Stewart), Nicole (Brandon), Matthew (Angela) and Lee-Ann (Richard); great-grandchildren Brady, Cole, Wyatt and Livia; Michaela and Eleanor; Sophie and Ben.
Michael grew up in Rossdale, MB and farmed near St. Andrews. He worked as a real estate agent in Winnipeg for over thirty years. He was a loving Husband, Father and Papa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 6, 2017 at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Avenue, Winnipeg. The family will receive guests at the church at 10:00 a.m. The Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will take place at Assumption Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Ave. At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Michael Provenski to The Salvation Army.
