Linda Burdett posted a condolence

I was a childhood friend of Carol (nee Mehmel) and fondly remember the whole family including the younger Geraldine. We lived on Woodbine Avenue, and I would cut through the field, cross the railway tracks and wait for Carol to rescue me because I was afraid of the turkeys. I spent overnights at the Drimes residence so knew the family way back when. My condolences to Doug, and the rest of the family. I never got to know the adult Geraldine, but judging what I remember from our youth - she would have been a wonderful adult. Linda Mehmel Burdett (age 71)
