Obituary of KRZYSZTOF WANIC

KRZYSZTOF WANIC It is with deep sadness that the family of Krzysztof (Chris) Wanic announce his sudden passing on December 22, 2016, in British Columbia at the age of 56. Chris will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Anna and Henry Wanic, his sister Barbara (John), as well as by many close family members and friends in Winnipeg, the United States and Poland. Chris was born in Przemysl, Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1965. He attended St. John's High School and upon graduation, moved to Alberta to pursue his passion of working on oil and gas pipelines. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid camper. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg. Interment will take place at the Holy Ghost Cemetery and a reception will follow in the reception hall of Holy Ghost Church.
