Obituary of MARY VERNA THOMPSON

MARY VERNA THOMPSON February 2, 1941 – November 21, 2016 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Mary Verna Thompson on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Verna was predeceased by her husband, Ted Delaronde her mother Anne Thompson and her brother Willard Thompson. She is survived by her children Deborah (Dave), Ted (Tina), Janice (Alcide), Skip (Christine) her sister Myrtle (Florian) numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Verna enjoyed attending bingo in the evenings, playing cards with her sister, daughter and friends. She also enjoyed her Zen coloring books, embroidering, watching Young and the Restless, game shows and wildlife shows. Verna had a long battled with Diabetes and Lupus which did not stop her from doing the things she enjoyed most. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held on Monday, November 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Honorary pallbearers are; AJ Delaronde, Rylan Gagnon, Marty Falk, Ray Dewar, Mathew McArdon and Thomas Woodhall.
