Obituary of DENIS PAUL EMILE MASSICOTTE

DENIS PAUL EMILE MASSICOTTE February 15, 1939 - November 2, 2016 Peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Victoria General Hospital a treasured soul has passed and will be forever loved and greatly missed by his loving daughters Tracy Westcott (Glenn Fries), Charlene Chiborak; grandchildren: Dylan and Allysia Westcott, Braeden, Kael and Kali Chiborak, Jordan and Jacob Fries and many friends. Denis was predeceased by his soul mate and partner Marie Westcott, his parents; his sisters Simone Rivers and Yvonne Channer. Denis was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Denis worked with The Hudson Bay Company for 45 years and retired from that company. In retirement he turned to woodwork, spending time with family and socializing with friends for a game of pool, shuffleboard at the Legion Branch #252 on Osborne. His sense of fulfilment also showed in his annual garden which was beautiful and gave him much joy. Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, November 10, 2016 You are invited to share time with family and friends after the service Winnipeg South Osborne Branch #252 Royal Canadian Legion, 426 Osborne Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Denis' honour to Legion Branch #252. As long as we live he too will live For he is now and always a part of us As we remember him
