ANTONIO (TONY) POLVOROSA
Antonio (Tony) Polvorosa, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and dear friend, peacefully passed away on October 5, 2016 at St Boniface Hospital.
Tony immigrated to Canada from the Philippines in 1974. Left to cherish his memories are wife Vita; children Tia and Dan(Lenore); grandchildren Landen, Liam, Lexie; siblings: Lolita, Billy, Junior, Ronnie. Predeceased by his daughter Margaret, parents Lope Sr. and Aurora; brothers Diego, Alberto, Danilo, Ernesto. His final days were spent celebrating his 67th birthday surrounded with love by close friends and family.
Viewing/Lamay will take place at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Tuesday, October 11 from 6 pm-12am.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin Ave. on Wednesday, October 12 at 11am followed by burial at the Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main St. Lunch to follow at St Anthony’s Parish Hall (lower level).
Our gratitude to Drs. Loewen and Wong, nurses and staff at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Harris at Cancer Care Grace Hospital and Dr. Kreml. Heartfelt thanks to everyone for your kindness and care during this time.
