Obituary of PALMIRA SOUSA
PALMIRA SOUSA
(nee Amorim Cerqueira)
Palmira beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at the age of 79 years.
Besides her husband Jose, she is survived by daughter Elizabeth (Charlie) in Thompson, MB; sons, Albert (Sheena), Tony (Megan) and John (Trish) all of Winnipeg; and eleven grandchildren, Josee, Samantha, Bronte, Abriel, Andie, James, Seth, Kira, Ewan, Arianna and Lucien. She also leaves to mourn her passing her brother Jose.
Prayers will be said at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Church, 181 Austin Street North followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016 also at the church. Interment at Assumption Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Dialysis Clinic and Ward GH4 of the Health Sciences Centre.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
