Obituary of MARGARET GALLOP
Margaret Isabella Gallop
Peacefully, with her family at her side, in sadness of heart, we announce the passing of Margaret Isabella Gallop on July 23, 2012. Margaret (Marge), passed away (after a very brief illness) born March 28th, 1932. Marge will be lovingly remembered, by her one and only daughter, Dr.Carley (Joyce) Adam, her one and only grandson, Jess Reid (Cheryl) Adam, and her brother George Drummond (Betty), along with relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents Annie and Hugh Drummond, and beloved husband Clifford, who passed last August 14, 2011, Mom and Dad, passed, a year less 3 weeks apart. Now, they are together again.
Mom grew up in Winnipeg, and worked for Eaton’s, where she met Clifford, the love of her life and married. Marge worked as a Peace Officer for the Province of Manitoba, in a highly respected position, as a Special Constable, sworn in under the Provincial Police Act. Marge worked in other companies in a business administrative capacity. Marge attained her Business Degree at Red River Community College and was a proud achiever, always and taking numerous courses along her path.
One of Moms greatest passions were her arts and crafts creating her beloved jewelry one of a kind and selling on Etsy dot com, she was an artisan supreme, using her favorite Maria beads and dragon flies she would create the most breath taking necklaces, earrings, prayer beads, and anklets having been acknowledged and written up several times in artisan magazines and the local newspaper for her wonderful necklace creations. Mom had a very independent spirit, loved her shopping, and going to games with dad. We also took in numerous concerts, and plays. Mom was a kind person, fun, with a great humor a true lady with a zest for life.
Private (Celebration of Life) has taken place we thank Rev.Shelly. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or The Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg MB R3T 0R3. Mom we will always love you and cherish your memory, you were a very strong lady, you endured much, thank you for being my beloved mother, for keeping me strong, sharing with me in this life, and having so many great times together, you were my very best friend, I was proud to call you Mom.
Mom, you will walk in the Kingdom of Heaven now, working on earth as the earthen angel you are. Your spirit and soul self-lives eternal, and as you know, you can talk to me anytime. Now, may God Creator and all that is, from the 7th plane of existence, give you Peace, Light, and your Angelic wings to grant you Eternal Life, may you rest, in the hollow of Creators Handyou always had the "Faith as a Grain of Mustard Seed" Mom. God Be in Your head and heart, Namaste, and Many Divine Universal White Light Blessings, to my beautiful little mom, with all my Love, Your loving Daughter, Rev.
