It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother, Katherine on July 19, 2012.
Katherine will be deeply missed by her family, son Joseph (Maria), grandson Emile (Lisa) great-grandchildren Chad, Tania, and Lynne, daughter-in-law Cathy, granddaughter Stacy (Etienne Ouellet), great-grandsons Damien and Joshua, grandson David (Suzanne), great-granddaughter Isabelle, granddaughter Kelly, and son Roy (Angie), daughter Susan (Peter Reimer) granddaughter Erin (Kyle) Sichewski, great-grandchildren Myles, Dennon, Nathan, and Logan, and granddaughter Lainie (Cory), son Randy (Kathy) grandsons Derik and Ryan, granddaughter Krissy (Scott) Lukinuk, great-grandchildren Jazmin, Rachel, Alexis, and Brayden, son Jeffrey (Cai-Fang), granddaughter Chantel, daughter Gail (Eldon) Marchyshyn, and daughter Elizabeth.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Stanley, son Stanley Jr., and infant daughter Sharon.
Katherine was a very kind and giving person, she truly had a heart of gold. She loved cooking for her family and loved being in her garden with her flowers.
Mom - Moya, Runty, and Tarzan are all loved and looked after, not to worry.
We Love and Miss you Mom.
A special thank you to Mom’s home care attendants for all their kindness and caring and to Mom’s dear friend Brenda Grabon for her much loved friendship.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 24 at 1:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Elie, Manitoba. Interment will immediately follow Mass with a lunch to be served in the Elie Veteran’s Hall.
The sun will rise tomorrow but will never shine as bright.
