Obituary of MARY BERNICE ELLOR

MARY BERNICE ELLOR December 21, 1921 - April 4, 2016 Our mother’s last day was spent joyfully visiting family at her bedside. Though speech was difficult, her expressive blue eyes reflected the love she felt for us. She will be greatly missed by her four daughters Candy, Morna, Margot (Rob) and Nan; grandchildren Cara, Heather, Julia (Patrick), Heidi (Nelson), Ian (Stephanie), also her great grandchildren Ashley, Britney, Liam, Eva, Alex, Elena, Alia and Phoenix; granddaughter-in-law Stacy. As well, she will be missed by many extended family members and dear friends. She was predeceased by Clive, her husband of 64 years; grandson Darcy and son-in-law Don. Bernice was optimistic and passionate about life. She had a genuine interest in others. Bernice’s engaging smile and wonderful sense of humour will be fondly remembered. She will be greatly missed. 94 years well lived! Thank you to all the caring staff at Bethania Personal Care Home and Concordia Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethania Pastoral Care or a charity of your choice. A celebration of Bernice’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St.
