OLGA GRYWINSKI
(nee Stawychny)
With broken hearts we announce the passing of Olga Grywinski, age 90, on July 10, 2012 at the St. Boniface Hospital.
Olga will be lovingly remembered by her children Liz, Ron, Gord, and by her granddaughter Lisa. She is survived by her sister Myrtle and many nieces and nephews.
Olga was predeceased by her parents, infant daughter Irene, husband Bill, sister Toni, brothers Henry, Sam, Peter and daughters-in-law Delphine and Linda.
Olga was born on December 1, 1921 in Poplarfield, Manitoba. Mom was known for her love and devotion to her family. She loved to cook and bake and took great pleasure in providing large feasts for her family. She was a strong and independent woman with a great sense of humor. Mom and dad raised their children and were very proud of their accomplishments. Olga had a close and loving relationship not only with her children and grandchild but also with her brothers and sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, with interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
