Aaron,I first met Anju when we were both assigned to share a locker at the U.of Winnipeg. What a wonderful twist of fate that was. I will treasure my memories of her always.

I will miss her a lot. After we came here in Winnipeg in 2003, I used to attend series of Bengali cultural programs. To me, Anju'di was the top most attraction. She was so well-versed in almost all wings of Bengali music- Rabindra sangeet, Najrul geeti, Assamese song, vatiari, baul, Hindi,...what not. The song -ohe sundoro momo' still resonates in my ear. She was kind enough to come to my house couple of times, and made my social groups spellbound with music. She was a cancer patient but never denied my request. You will be missed Anju'di. My final regards from the core of my heart. Rest in peace didi- Your brother in Winnipeg.

We are so sorry to hear about Anjudi's death. She will always live in our hearts. She was very close to us especially my parents. She had a special connection to us because we are also Bengalis from Assam. When we used to live in Winnipeg she used to regularly talk with my parents. She had a wonderful voice and sang very beautifully. May her soul rest in peace.
