Obituary of ROBERT ROUSE
ROBERT ROUSE
September 4, 1944 – February 5, 2016
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Bob, “Our Rock Star”.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, best friend, soulmate, Sue Rouse; his only child daughter Mandy Rouse; brother John (Jenny); nieces, Joanne (Colin), Felicity, Jacqui (Mat); and numerous family and friends in England, and by his Special girls, Sandra, Kym, Michelle, Barbara, Joanne and Debs.
Bob was born and raised in Nottingham, England. He was a butcher for many years and also a drummer in a few bands in England. He met the love of his life and married in 1967. Bob, Sue and Mandy immigrated to Canada in 1977. Bob worked at Burns Meats for twenty years. He loved to cook, BBQ and make his own wine. His love for making people laugh was infectious. Bob loved to play golf and he loved his music, but most of all he loved his cottage and his winters in Mexico with wife Sue and close friends. Bob fought hard with a brief battle with cancer right till the end.
Our lives will never be the same without him. “We lost you to soon too fast. You will be missed every day and will be in our hearts forever.”
Bob’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 9, 920 Nairn Avenue, Winnipeg, MB.
