DR. LUIS A. (LICO) CAÑADAS AGUIRRE
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Luis on December 26, 2015 in Winnipeg.
Luis is survived by his forever loving Izabella; daughter Mariana; son Luis; sisters Mercy and Isabel; brothers Manuel and Carlos and other extended family in El Salvador.
He was predeceased by his parents Isabel and Manuel and brother Vicente.
Luis was born in El Salvador and came to Canada in 1990. He was a loving, loyal, compassionate, and genuine person. A man who touched many hearts and respected life. Luis was creative and wore many hats. He also had a passion for soccer, music, medicine and art.
Divine Liturgy will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Avenue. Pallbearers are Mauricio Alvarez, Fernando Sorto, William Rosales, Leonel Jimenez, Jose Guerra, and Sandow Lopez. These gentlemen were Dr. Luis’ soccer teammates.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Right To Play International
