To Len, Family & many close friends, Helene was a wonderful person thru to the core! I had always loved her positive attitude in everything she did in life. She suffered so much & those who loved her, as well, to see such a wonderful person suffer so much. I wish her everlasting peace in the arms of the Lord. She will be missed! Len and family, I'm so sorry for your loss.
I last saw Helene at the Grace hospital when she was recovering from her last surgery. Helene was cheerful, optimistic and determined to fight to the end. Unfortunately, her determination and strength of character wasn't enough and she left us much too early.
I'm glad I had a chance for a last visit. As our good friend Colette said when she was fighting her own battle with cancer, 'I'd rather you visit me now than show up at my funeral.' I'm sure the 2 of them are already reminiscing and watching over all of us.

Helene's warmth and compassion will be missed by all that knew her. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of our dear friend Helene. She was always there when you needed her and would always go out of her way to help you with anything.She was a super animal lover and my dog Brian would always just cry and whine for her when the van would pull up with Sam. Helene could barely get in the gate and he would be all over her kissing her. We all loved her, she was such a good friend and we are all going to miss her very much. Our deepest sympathy to Lenny and all Helene's family.
