Obituary of ANNE SHYDLOWSKY

ANNE SHYDLOWSKY May 27, 1915 – December 8, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother at the St. Pierre Hospital. Anne was predeceased by her husband Alec in 1998. She leaves to cherish her memory Iris (Tony) Buchel, Orest (Helen) Shydlowsky, Nester (Linda) Shydlowsky, along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anne was especially proud of her Ukrainian heritage enjoying Ukrainian embroidery, crafts, cooking, and gardening. She was also very active in church and community events! She was a member of the Ukrainian Women’s Association of Canada for 78 years. The family would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for the excellent care given to her at her stay at the Chalet Malouin (St. Malo) for 14 years and the nursing staff and Dr. Noreen Nasir at the St. Pierre Hospital (St. Pierre). Prayers will be held, Friday, December 11th at 7:30 P.M. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 12th at 10:00 A.M. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Tolstoi, MB, with viewing one hour before the service.
