Obituary of JOHN GOZDA

JOHN GOZDA On November 30, 2015, John Gozda passed away in Winnipeg at the age of 83 years. John is survived by his daughter Denise Riel (Dave Litwin); sons Alan (Dawn) and John (Hali); 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sister Lucy Szewczyk; brother Joe (Dolores); nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; sister Irene and brother Bill. Dad moved to Canada at the age of 5 and lived in Sifton. As a young man dad left home and worked up North. Eventually he settled in Winnipeg and worked at Winnipeg School Division #1 where he retired from. He enjoyed travelling and spending time with his grand and great grandchildren. He was independent and lived a full and happy life. He will be truly missed and loved by all that knew him. The beauty of family like ours is that some things don’t have to be said, they are felt, shown, and most importantly known. We love you Dad and will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace. A private Memorial Service was held. VICHNAYA PAM’YAT
