ALBERT WALTER BIEBRICH

Obituary of ALBERT WALTER BIEBRICH

ALBERT WALTER BIEBRICH 1923 – 2011 It is with great sadness, that I announce the peaceful passing of Albert Biebrich on October 30, 2011 at Concordia Hospital, at the age of 88. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Eleanor Dyck, brothers Carl (Marion), Art (Irene), sister Violet McDougall (Jim), in-laws Lawry and Gloria Schmidt, Orland and Terry Smith, Jim and Marion Smith, Len and Carol Smith, and Betty Drimes, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Marjorie, daughter Beverley, parents Wilhelm and Emilie, brother Bill and Gordon, sisters Edna, Irene, and Alice, parents-in-law Peter and Elizabeth Smith. Bert was a kind, generous and loving person. He was a wounded war veteran who endured and overcome many hardships over the years. He was a member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows #7 and the Royal Canadian Legion #7 for many years. He worked many jobs but enjoyed working with brothers-in-law Lawry and Orland at Industrial Saw Shop the best. I would like to express my sincere and grateful thanks to the doctor, nurses, and staff at Concordia Hospital for their care and kindness. Also to the staff at Devonshire House where he lived happily for the past 2 years prior to being hospitalized. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at Brookside Cemetery on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to meet at cemetery’s main entrance. Memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, donations may be made in Albert’s memory to a charity of your choice. I will miss you, but know that you are with Mom and Bev again. Give them a hug for me.
