Obituary of EDWIN F. MONKMAN

EDWIN F. MONKMAN December 19, 1934 – July 7, 2015 Edwin was born in Deerhorn, Manitoba and passed away at Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg at the age of 80 years. Edwin is survived by his sisters-in-law Nettie and Priscilla along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Aurise and Francois; brothers Louis, George, Lawrence; sisters Aurise and Lilian. He was the last of his family to take the journey home. In his younger days he was a boxer and for many years was a long distance hauler, retiring from Canada Messenger in his late 60’s. Thank you to the staff on the second floor East Wing of Concordia Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
