DOROTHY (JOAN) MCNICHOL September 2, 1928 - June 29, 2015 With great sadness we announce the passing of Joan McNichol at age 86. She passed away peacefully on June 29, 2015 at St Boniface Hospital with her husband Jack and her two sons, John (Tammy) and Jerald (Darlene) at her side. Joan is also survived by her two grandchildren, Trevor and Travis; and her six great grandchildren, Kohen, Broden, Ephrium, Logan, Conner, and Ben. Jack and Joan had just recently happily celebrated their 65th anniversary together. Her family was her great joy in life and her passing leaves a great void in our hearts. A private graveside ceremony will be held at Elmwood Cemetery. Goodbye my family, my life has passed. I loved you all to the very last, weep not for me, but courage take, always continue to love one another, for my sake. For those you love don't go away, they walk beside you every day.
