Obituary of JOHN SOKOLOSKI
JOHN SOKOLOSKI
1921 – 2012
We regret the peaceful passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather on June 4, 2012.
John will be lovingly remembered by his children Carol (Robert), Teresa (Leonard); his grandchildren Robert, Jennifer, Coral and great grandchildren Kara, Karmen, Brianna, Ryan, Lucas and Joshua. He also leaves to mourn his two sisters Annie and Irene.
He was predeceased by his wife Pauline.
Dad was an avid outdoorsman since a young age. He loved nature, animals and the countryside. He was an excellent marksman and fisherman. He told stories about his hunting trips and fishing trips and how things were on the farm in the olden days. He made weekly visits to the flea market.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped us at this sad time.
A celebration of John’s life will be held on Saturday, June 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
