Obituary of JOSEPH FESZCZAK
JOSEPH FESZCZAK
February 1, 1920 – February 23, 2015
Joseph (Joe) passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. He was predeceased by his wife Stephania and only son Nicola.
Joe was born in Western Ukraine and immigrated with his wife to Canada in May, 1951.
Joe was a dedicated and proud man. Family and friends meant everything to him. He worked as a lineman for the C N Railway and retired after 34 years.
On Joe’s behalf, his family and friends would like to thank everyone who helped Joe with his care and well-being that enabled him to live independently in his own home. Thank-you to the First Responders, the compassionate care at the Health Science Emergency Dept., the exemplary patient care he received on GA-4 and the Meals on Wheels Program.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Viewing prior to service. Entombment at Holy Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Health Sciences Centre Foundation, Salvation Army Booth Centre, Firefighters Burn Fund, Meals on Wheels or a charity of your choice.
