Obituary of HENRY WOJCIECHOWSKI
HENRY WOJCIECHOWSKI
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Henry Wojciechowski on February 5, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Seven Oaks Hospital.
Henry was born on September 5, 1924 in Szczekociny, Poland. He was a WWII veteran and very much involved with Legion #246. After the war he lived in France and then Germany and came to Canada with his family in 1955.
Henry had five sons Zbig, Eugene (deceased), Henry, Stan, Ted and stepdaughter Christine. He had eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents Ana and Aleksander in Poland.
Henry met Anna Budzinsky at Legion #246. They were constantly together until her passing last June.
We would like to thank John and Susan Duka especially Susan for taking such good care of dad. Also thanks to all the staff on the 5th floor at Holy Family Home and many thanks to the staff on the 5th floor, unit 4 at Seven Oaks Hospital for making Henry’s last days comfortable.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 12, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Polish National Cemetery.
