Obituary of NORMA JEAN LINDA (GROUETTE) FONTAINE
NORMA JEAN LINDA (GROUETTE) FONTAINE
Norma was born in Winnipeg, MB on June 1, 1951. She was the second youngest born of 11 siblings, though two passed before they even had a chance to make a mark on the world.
Mom, we had a mother and daughter relationship like no other, we laughed together, we cried together and you prepared me for the world. Life tossed many lessons your way and you stood strong, but the body can only stand strong for so long.
On January 1 5, 2015 at 6:20pm you passed away suddenly and without warning. After your long journey you were met by the many wonderful people that passed before you, your husband and first love Marcel Fontaine and your life partner and soul mate Walter Hurley. I know your sisters Rita ,Lou, Yvonne, Wilma, and your niece Elizabeth and of course your parents Albina and William Grouette would be among the many people who came to walk you up to the pearly gates. Though you left many people behind to mourn your loss, brothers Albert and William, sisters Annette and Julie, your three pride and joys Albina Hurley, Marcel and Sandy Fontaine, your four amazing grandchildren Kailynn, Marcel, Carmen and Quinn, your many nieces and nephews as well as partner in crime Rene (bunny) and numerous other family and friends.
Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St.
Till we meet again may you rest your head in the arms of God, forever loved and never forgotten.
