ALEXANDER JOSEPH DUMAS
On January 12, 2015 Alexander passed away at his residence at the age of 60 years.
Alex is survived by his children Jason, Deryk (Mavis), Michelle (Dana), Robert (Roberta) and stepson Jed (Tara); grandchildren Chelsea, Nicholas, Eassin, Benjamin, Tanisha, Jillian, Anna, Kristine; his father Alex McKenzie; siblings Arthur, Finley, Debra, Brenda, Charlene, John; Keith; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter Kristine Dumas; mother Nellie Dumas; brothers Larry, Lesley, Ron and Deryk.
Alex was born in Ste. Rose, Manitoba and grew up in Crane River and Winnipeg. He enjoyed hockey, baseball, fishing, hunting and found great satisfaction in his work. Alex loved spending time with his family.
The family would like to thank Freight House Community Centre, CancerCare Manitoba and Dr. A.S. Randunne.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H. officiating. Interment to follow in St. Vital Cemetery, 236 River Road. Pallbearers will be Keith, Jason, Kevin, Deryk, Ricky and Robert.
