Obituary of ANTONIO (TONY) MASI
ANTONIO (TONY) MASI
December 26, 1922 – January 13, 2015
It is with profound sadness that the family of Antonio (Tony) Masi announce his peaceful passing at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 92 years.
He leaves behind to cherish wonderful family memories, his wife Eleonora and children Frank, Nuccia (Trent) and Mirella; grandchildren Nicolette (Randy), Norina (Lloyd), Carla (Brent), Anna (Shawn), Carlo (Marnie) and Tony (Rosie); great grandchildren Braeden, Nicholas, Ethan, Shaynen and Arabella. He also leaves behind his daughters Gaetania, Elena; sister-in-law Assunta; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his son Agostino and brother Giovanni (John).
Dad was a man dedicated to his family. Get togethers around the family table were always special to him. His love for gardening was a big part of his life. He was always so proud of his massive garden which made him the talk of Winnipeg Beach.
The family would like to thank Dr. Derrick Jensen for his commitment to Dad’s well-being. As well, we thank the numerous homecare workers, nurses, doctors and healthcare aides at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 17 at from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Cropo
Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley Street.
