BEATRICE COOK
(NEE SHEPHERD, LEMOINE)
July 26, 1923 - January 6, 2015
Peacefully after a short illness Mom passed away at the age 91 years at her residence at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg surrounded by her family.
Mom is survived by her children Don (Sandy) LeMoine, Jacquie (Vince) Murray and Ian (Tannis) Cook and grandchildren Vern (Kim), Shannon, Stuart, Courtney, Brittany, Sydney, Rheanna, and Jessee, and great grandchildren Ryan McKenna and Kaiden.
Predeceased by her parents Albert and Jessie Shepherd, husbands Jack Cook and Vern LeMoine, daughter Barbra LeMoine, and infant grandson Roderick Soucey as well as sisters Violet and Alice.
Mom had a long and interesting life from working at Eaton’s in the shoe department to be a book keeper for D. Cohn TransCanada Furs to running and owning Treasure Chest Antiques with Dad. Mom enjoyed seeing her grandchildren and was very proud to have great grandchildren.
We would like to thank all the staff and volunteers at Middlechurch for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Mom during her stay there.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Special Olympics Manitoba 304-145 Pacific Avenue
