Obituary of ROBERT (BOB) JOHN HAMILTON

ROBERT (BOB) JOHN HAMILTON July 22, 1946-December 16, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bob on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Concordia Hospital. Bob will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Teresa Clyne, his daughters, Teresa, April and Amanda(Cameron), his sons, Cyril (Mandy), Michael, Christopher (Marley) and Stephan (Erin), grandchildren: Skylar, Jayden, Mya, Larissa, Reed, Jessica, Amaya, Gage, Kolton, Ace and Avery, sister Gwendolyn McAdoo, sister-in-law Shirley Hamilton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, The United States and Scotland. Bob was predeceased by his mother and father Louise and James Hamilton, brother James, and sisters May and Doris. Bob touched the lives of everyone he met. It was impossible to not be swept up by his quick wit, humour and charm. His genuine love and compassion for all, just made those around fall in love with him that much quicker and deeper. Thanks for the years you gave us and for the precious times we shared, we only pray when you left us, you knew how much we cared. All your acts of kindness will be forever remembered and cherished. In Bob’s honour, the family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to a list of people; Gwendolyn McAdoo, Pat and Hope McAdoo. Manny and April Bruck, Cyril and Beth Clyne and the nurses and doctors at Concordia Hospital. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
