Had the privilege of working with Dan in the merchandising of milling oats for over 10 years at Cargill. He was respected as THE oat expert in the Canadian grain trade as it related to managing quality - whether you were a milling customer, competitor, or co-worker.
More than anything, I will miss the banter with Dan, and the tomato growing competitions! Dan will be missed. My sincere condolences Judy.

My sympathy to Dan's wife and family. I learned a lot from Dan and enjoyed many phone conversations with him as a past Cargill employee. He was a good man.

My condolences to Dan's family. Dan was very knowledgable and experienced with his job at Cargill. He was very helpful and pleasant to work with and funny with his dry sense of humor. He will certainly be missed.
