Obituary of CARE COHEN
CARE COHEN
(CAROLE LYNN TABALA)
December 20, 1940 – November 5, 2014
Care passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospice at the age of 73 years.
She is survived by her brother Gary (Heather) Cohen; her closest friend Donald De Meo; her extended family and her Bahá’í brothers and sisters in Canada.
Care was a teacher for 23 years at Ryerson University, Toronto. In 1992 Care recognized Bahá’u’lláh as the fulfilment of the return of Christ, the Lord of Hosts. She said “then the world made sense to me”. Since that time Care has been an active contributor to the understanding of the interconnectedness of all life and the oneness of God.
Special thanks to the staff at Lions Place, surgery staff at Seven Oaks Hospital and the wonderful care and compassion of the team at the Grace Hospice.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 7 at 1:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow at St. Clement’s Cemetery.
