MARIELLE CORA LABOSSIERE
February 4, 1946-October 27, 2014
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mother and Memere on October 27, 2014 after a brief battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, of forty six years Martial; daughter Patricia (Kelly) Knowles, their daughters, Reaghan Addison, Amy and Katie Knowles; Son, Daniel (Shelly) Labossiere, their children, Brett and Ashlan Labossiere; Siblings, Camil (Carol) Dupuis, Marcel (Anna) Dupuis, Dora (Rene) Trudeau, Richard (Raymonde) Dupuis, Monique (Kit) Haywood, Gerald Dupuis (Irene Ouellet), brother-in-law Aimé (Anita) Remillard; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lucille (Camille) Van Den Bosch, Dollard Boily, Fred (Grace) Labossiere, Juliette (Henry) Van Den Bosch, Marc (Anita) Labossiere, Jules (Carole) Labossiere, Rose Marie (Arthur) Van Den Bosch, Clemence Labossiere, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents Antoine and Albertine Dupuis; her sisters Lucette (in infancy), Claudette Remillard; sister-in-law Lina Boily.
Marielle was an awesome cook, baker and loved to entertain no matter the size of the group. She enjoyed giving away her many creations. She spent countless hours knitting blankets for Dakota House, and volunteering to such causes as Blood Donor Clinics, and church activities. She made special friends through her volunteering with the ladies of the CWL at Mary, Mother of the Church.
Funeral mass will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:00 am at Mary, Mother of the Church 85 Kirkbridge Drive, Winnipeg MB, R3T 5S7. Rev. Fr. Kevin Bettens officiating. Private family interment to take place at a later date.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations can be made in Marielles name to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg MB. R3E 0V9
