Obituary of WILLIAM (BILL) OLEKSON

WILLIAM (BILL) OLEKSON 1938 – 2014 Suddenly, on Monday, August 4, 2014 Bill passed away at the age of 76 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Linda of 31 years; step-daughter Sandie, Jimmy and Karen from a previous marriage; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary and Helen. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Rodrick and Effie; and sister Julie. Bill worked for the City of Winnipeg for 35 years and retired at the age of 60 years. His favorite pastime were many trips to Las Vegas and getting together with family and friends. Bill was a fun loving guy and enjoyed life. A memorial service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 10.00 a.m. Interment at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. We will miss you dearly, Rest in Peace, Bill (Keg)
