Obituary of SISTER FLORENCE TRUDEAU
S. Florence Trudeau
Le jeudi, 24 juillet 2014, S. Florence Trudeau fit son entrée à la maison du Père à l’âge de 96 ans. Elle était membre de la Congrégation des Missionnaires Oblates de Saint-Boniface depuis 57 ans.
Florence naquit à Joliette, QC, le 24 mars 1918. Son père, Edouard Trudeau et sa mère Flore Mireault étaient originaires de Québec.
L’ont précédée dans la mort, ses parents, ses trois sœurs, Rachel (Louis Brodeur), Marcelle (Maurice Bouchard) et Lucille, Sœur de la Providence, quatre frères, Bernard, Jean-René, Roger, Jean et sa belle-sœur Gisèle Guèvremont.
Elle laisse dans le deuil les membres de sa Congrégation religieuse, sa sœur Fernande, son frère André, ainsi qu’une nièce et des neveux.
Les prières seront le jeudi, 31 juillet 2014 à 10 h à la chapelle de la Villa Aulneau, 601 rue Aulneau, Winnipeg, MB. Les funérailles seront célébrées à 13 h 30 au même endroit. Le Père Albert Bouffard, o.m.i., présidera la célébration.
L’inhumation des cendres aura lieu au Cimetière St-Boniface de la rue Archibald le vendredi, 1er août 2014 à 14 h 00. La direction des funérailles est confiée au salon Mortuaire Cropo.
Les Missionnaires Oblates de St-Boniface désirent remercier toutes les personnes qui lui ont procuré des bons soins au Centre Taché.

Sister Florence Trudeau passed away at Taché Centre in St. Boniface on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the age of 96. She was a member of the religious Congregation of the Missionary Oblate Sisters of St. Boniface for 57 years.
Sister Florence was born in Joliette, QC, on March 24, 1918. Her father, Edouard Trudeau and her mother Flore Mireault were both from Quebec.
She was predeceased by her parents, her three sisters, Rachel (Louis Brodeur), Marcelle (Maurice Bouchard) and Lucille, Soeur de la Providence, four brothers, Bernard, Jean-René, Roger, Jean and her sister-in-law, Gisèle Guèvremont.
Along with the members of her religious Congregation, she leaves to mourn her passing, her sister Fernande, her brother André, as well as a niece and nephews.
Prayers are on Thursday, July 31st, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Villa Aulneau, 601 Aulneau, Winnipeg, MB. Funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the same address. Father Albert Bouffard, o.m.i. will preside the celebration.
Interment of the ashes will take place on Friday, August 1st, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Boniface Cemetery on Archibald Street.
The Missionary Oblate Sisters of St. Boniface express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Taché Centre for their care and compassion.
