If we're lucky, we will have at some time in our lives, people who are gracious and kind, some who are thoughtful and caring, others who are generous and attentive, and still others insightful and clear thinking. Seldom do we find all this in one person and yet for those of us lucky to have known Vicki, and to work with and under her, this is the woman we knew. Our deepest sympathies to family and close friends. We have lost "a part of the main" and are diminished by that loss. Pat Fenske, retired English teacher.

I feel privileged that I had the opportunity to work with Vicky Cielen. Indeed, she was a thoughtful and professional educator and administrator. Her quiet and diplomatic leadership style positively impacted students, teachers and parents. Deepest condolences to her family. She will be greatly missed.

Rick and I extend to Vicki's husband and family our sincere condolences. You have been in our thoughts many times over this long journey. We knew Vicki as a dedicated, caring fellow teacher when we worked together at Lord Selkirk Regional. Since that time we have heard nothing but good things about her in her various positions. We were so pleased to hear it when she got the principalship at the highschool; we knew that it would be in good hands. Bless you all as you work through this very difficult time. She was a special lady, as you know.
